Posting a Job Listing on the Alooba Jobs Board

Enabling a job listing on the Alooba Jobs Board is a straightforward process that can be done during the assessment creation or by editing an existing assessment.

Before trying to post a job to the Alooba Jobs Board, make sure that you enable the assessment public link option since it is needed for the candidates to be able to apply for the job.

This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process:

  1. During Assessment Creation:
    • Begin by creating a new assessment within Alooba.
    • As you progress through the assessment creation flow, you will come across an option that says "Publish your role to the Alooba Jobs Board." within the Role configuration. This option is represented by a checkbox
    • To enable the job listing on the Alooba Jobs Board, simply check this checkbox.

      Turn on publishing your role to the Alooba Jobs Board
    • Continue completing the assessment creation process by adding relevant details, assessment criteria, and any additional requirements specific to the role. Making sure to include your job description in the Role Summary and optionally a video introducing the role.
    • Once all the necessary information is provided, save and finalize the assessment.
  2. Editing an Existing Assessment:
    • If you already have an assessment created and would like to publish it on the Alooba Jobs Board, access the "Edit Assessment" page for that particular assessment.
    • The edit assessment configuration option
    • On the edit page, you will find the option to "Publish your role to the Alooba Jobs Board." within the Role configuration. It will be represented by a checkbox, the same as when creating a new assessment.
    • To enable the job listing on the Alooba Jobs Board, check this checkbox.
    • Make sure to include your job description in the Role Summary and optionally a video introducing the role.
    • Save the changes to update the assessment.

The assessment needs to be published in order to appear on the Alooba Jobs Board, assessments that are in the "Draft" state will not be shown on the Jobs Board.

The job listing will remain visible on the Alooba Jobs Board as long as the checkbox is enabled unless it is manually unchecked or the assessment is deleted.

After following the previous steps, the assessment will be shown on the Alooba Jobs Board, you can access the Jobs Board at https://jobs.alooba.com

The job listing on the Alooba Jobs Board allows customization of important details such as location, role summary, and role video (see the previous screenshot). Recruiters can effortlessly tailor these fields to accurately represent the job opportunity by customizing them on the edit assessment page or during the creation of a new assessment. This flexibility ensures that the job listing effectively showcases key information to attract qualified candidates.

Customizing the assessment role details

When a candidate clicks "Apply for this job", they will be asked to provide some basic information such as their name, email address, and phone number. They will also be able to optionally upload their resume.

Applying to an assessment from the jobs board

Once a candidate has submitted the form they will receive the assessment invitation to their email address with the link to take the assessment.

If the candidate uploaded their resume when submitting the form, you will be able to download their resume from their details page.
